I learn best when I have something to build. Usually it starts with a question, a rough idea, and a lot of trial and error.
I've been exploring Python through a few different projects: a tool for testing trading ideas, a camera-based drowsiness detector, and a simple photo editor. Each one has given me something new to figure out, from working with data to making an interface easier to use.
I'm also curious about markets, probability, and what data can (and can't) tell us. Mostly, I enjoy testing an idea rather than just taking it at face value.
Projects
A dashboard for exploring market data and testing trading ideas against historical prices. Load data, add indicators, and set up simple entry and exit rules without writing code. Charts, trade logs, and commission settings help show how the results change.
View sourceA computer-vision project that looks for signs of drowsiness and distraction in a camera feed. Uses OpenCV and MediaPipe to track eyes, yawning, and head position, with timed thresholds to trigger an alert. An experiment in working with live video, not a replacement for a proper safety system.
View sourceA simple photo editor built with Flet, OpenCV, and NumPy. Adjust exposure, color, clarity, and vignette with sliders, preview the changes, and export as a PNG, JPG, or BMP. A way to explore image processing through something you can actually use.
